A minor thought for the afternoon. In the ancient Greek city of
Sicyon, they had their own separate
Muses, and one of them was called Polymathia (i.e., the muse of great learning). Interestingly, Sicyon was well known in the Greek world for being a center of the arts, but not for its citizens' great learning. They must have practiced polymathia on the side.
