Polymath, polymathy, polyhistor, Renaissance man, universal man, creativity

We have been talking a lot about polymaths and polymathy. But there are some related terms and concepts that are worth looking at. For example, what is a polyhistor? What is a universal man? And what really is a Renaissance man (or woman)? Is there any difference between a polymath and a Renaissance man?

We will get to those ideas soon.

Another interesting concept is the relationship between polymathy and creativity. Sure, it's OK to say that it's fun to have a lot of knowledge, but have there been any scientific examinations of the benefits of polymathy? We'll look at that in the coming weeks as well.
